Open Learning Media Team

The Open Learning Media Team is available to support TRU OL course developers and instructional designers with the following aspects of educational media.

Video

  • guidance on creating high-quality educational video (setups and software)
  • loaning equipment
  • recording (including light board videos based in Kamloops, BC) and video and sound editing

Graphics

  • drawing professional diagrams
  • making infographics
  • helping with image selection
  • designing colour palettes

Multimedia

  • guidance on creating multimedia
  • building-out of interactivities and animations

Land Acknowledgement

Thompson Rivers University (TRU) campuses are situated on the ancestral lands of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc and the T’exelc within Secwepemcúl’ecw, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Secwépemc.
